Levels 2-5 cost one point, levels 6-8 cost two, and levels 9-10 cost three. Dismemberment chance starts at +5%, and each level increases it by +5%, up to a maximum of +50% at level 10.Īs Perception level increases, so does the amount of skillpoints required. Headshot damage starts at +100% (double damage), and each level increases it by +10% (+15% for levels 9 and 10), up to a maximum of +200% (triple damage) at level 10. More zombie gore - Holy hell is the art team good at what they do.Now they all have unique sound effects! In particular, knives make super satisfying cutting sounds when you swing them. New swing sounds - All weapons used to make a simple woosh sound when swung.Difficulty Meters - Now whenever you enter a PoI or biome, you see on your HUD a number of skulls, representing the difficulty of the quest.A Tier 6 Mission is a Tier 5 Infestation Quest, which I can't imagine how challenging it must be! I haven't gotten nearly this far into the game, but I'm super excited for whatever this holds! Apparently there is a new type of quest called an Infestation, which I imagine is like a Clear mission jacked up to 11 (tons of zombies).I'm not sure how strong the effects are, but I will once I start updating this guide. This change makes it so that your loot is tailored to your build, helping you progress. Imagine searching for days to find an M60 for your Fortitude build where all you can find are auto shotguns and sniper rifles. Before this update it was very RNG based whether you would find items or perk books that are actually helpful to your build. You're also more likely to find perk books from series that are nearly complete, and less likely to find ones from already complete series. In addition, I believe it also increases the chances of you finding magazines and books related to the perk. For example, putting points into Deep Cuts will increase the chances of you finding bladed weapons and machete parts. Perk-based Loot - Putting points into weapon and tool based perks will increase the odds of you finding loot related to that perk.Now it's much easier to craft what you want without having to spec into multiple trees, allowing you to focus on just one! This was especially troublesome for workbench and tool crafting. This is a great change in my opinion! Prior to this update, you would have to either find rare schematics to craft new items, or you would have to spec into other skilltrees.Magazines appear very often in loot, often in stacks of 2-3 early game. ![]() Every "crafting tree" seems to range from 30 to 100, and reading magazines seems to add a static +2 to level. Reading magazines will increase crafting quality and unlock new crafting recipes for a category, such as workbenches, tools, sledgehammers, etc. Overhauled Crafting Unlocks - Rather than having crafting recipes tied to perks, they are now tied to a completely separate Magazine system.Some of my favorite new things they've added: There will be a "separator" between all the information that has been updated, and what still needs work. That being said though, this guide is going to be outdated in the meantime! Once I have the time, I will start updating this guide top to bottom with all the latest from A21. They've added so much more than I expected. Alpha 21 has just released for 7 Days to Die! I've been playing it with my friend, and I've been loving it so far.
